My love, my life - my biggest support |
About two years ago, I started sleeping... a lot. My fatigue got so bad that sometimes I would come home from work, eat dinner, and then go to sleep, not waking up until the next morning only to go back to work. I was barely even functioning while at the office. This way of life started to make me feel very depressed. I went to the doctor and found out I have a vitamin D deficiency, but supplementation didn't really make me feel that different. After about a year and a half of getting no results coupled with some digestive issues for my hubby, I decided to take our well-being into my own hands.

I started doing a lot of research about different diets and stumbled onto the paleo diet because of a desire I already had to eat real food. The more I read, the more convinced I became that I needed to try this out for the both of us. We haven't been doing it that long, but the effects have been astounding. I can now go a full 17-18 hours without feeling like I will pass out any second from exhaustion. Justin's stomach also started to feel a lot better within days of cutting out grains, legumes, sugar, and dairy. We have so far been maintaining the paleo lifestyle at 90+%.
So why should you listen to me??? Well, if you are interested at all in the paleo diet or gluten, sugar, dairy intolerant, I promise to provide you with some recipes. The other reason is because I am like you. A lot of the blogs I follow that are paleo, the people that write them seem to have these amazing lifestyles and a whole lot of time to make food, exercise, and the money to maintain it all. I have none of those things. Hopefully, my tips and tricks can help you save some time and money while achieving the things you want to achieve.
